Whats the point of sleep anyway? We are all less active in the day.

Sitting at the edge of the world

Looking down at you all

But for some reason I feel very small

When night hits my eyes

And the sun is gone

My eyes take a sudden close and it’s all gone

Into my mind I

Can dream what I want and I feel what I wish

I can swim away like a sail fish

I can laugh like a clown

I can sing like a blue bird

I can dance all around

Into my mind I can escape all those who wish to bring harm

I can gaze into the suns light

I can jump for joy

I can spin and never fall down

I can ponder in the earth’s core

I can jump on Mars

I can swim in the translucent light of the stars

I could change you all with a blink of an eye!

I could fly through the sky

I could be happy when I am sad

I could feel what none felt

I can wish for what none have

For what will never happen

Will never be done

And what shall happen

Will never be fun

And I can sit up

In the sky

And sing a sweet lullaby and watch as life passes me by

I will breathe the air none have smelt

And I will feel things few have felt

In my mind I am safe I crave for adventure!!!

I will fight with those gone

I shall argue with those who have won

The loser will never think of what they lost

And the winner now will hate what he has lost

I could change you all with a blink of an eye

Then the light will shine the morning will rise

and I will slowly open my tired eyes…..

For what’s the point of sleep anyway

I am less tried in the day

For at night I am active the most

And I watch as the toaster toasts my toast

I drink my coffee down

Pouring the second cup with no sugar to be found

I walk out the door hobbling to the car

Looking into the sky seeing no stars

But life goes on and I must go

Into my mind I will find that dream I know
