Into the Arms of Strangers.

Into the Arms of Strangers

Paths before like those behind

Bleeding hearts

Bleeding blind

Moments so still

One cannot hear

The petals fall

And never will

Into the arms of strangers

Gate swing free

From inside out

To clear away

The fettered doubt

Truth unknown

Or truth at all

Marching on

Into the arms of strangers

Within a glimpse

A feathers gasp

A chance to hope

A hope to last

Falls so free

Without a plan

Drifts along

Into the arms of strangers

Impervious still

A gift of chance

For tethered will

Yet left alone

The choice to leave

Upon the step

This heart to lie

Falls from me

Into the arms of strangers
