Sadness, despair, dejection. A sad poem which contains all the elements required to turn a jolly mood to a one of sadness. Written with such passion that it’s impossible to recreate a work like this.

My chains grow stronger,
And I grow weak.
I look upon my crippling life
And stare at God and say
“I put faith in you,
Yet you betrayed me.”

I cannot escape, I am bound.
In the skies I see a phoenix
Whom Death kills with its hellhound.
A tear rolls down my cheek,
These chains make me weak.
I cannot escape, I am bound.

My life laughs at my face,
Calling me a disgrace.
I am suffocating,
I am dying.
And now in the darkness I hear Death’s hellhound.
I cannot escape, I am bound.

I don’t want to live
For I have nothing for you I can give.
I am detached, I am desolate.
Satan, take me! For God has betrayed me.
And now in the darkness I hear Death’s hellhound.
I cannot escape, I am bound.

There’s so much of mutiny,
THat in the abyss cries my destiny.
I am crumbled, I am crippled.
I am destroyed, I am shackled.
And now in the darkness I hear Death’s hellhound.
I cannot escape, I am bound.

My survival is threatened.
I pray you, bury me in Eden.
Bury me away from here,
Else in my grave, I’d shed a tear.
And now in the darkness I hear Death’s hellhound.
I cannot escape, I am bound.

There’s no beacon of light
Which can aid my flight.
I lie still, waiting for Satan.
My breathe comes as labour, and I don’t want to live.
And now in the darkness I hear Death’s hellhound.
I cannot escape, I am bound.

It is all my fault,
And it is what I’ll end.
I am still ready to wait
For in thee, I have endless faith.
And now in the darkness I hear Death’s hellhound.
I cannot escape, I am bound.

A tear again rolls down my cheek
And disappears into nothingness.
In my dreams, I used to hear my life say
“For you, I’ll always be there, like air”.
And now in the darkness I hear Death’s hellhound.
I cannot escape, I am bound.

I’ve seen so much pain,
Given so much pain.
I breathe my last not because of these shackles
But because of this overwhelming guilt.
And now in the darkness I hear Death’s hellhound.
I cannot escape, I am bound.

I feel no pain, no pain.
I am going numb, I am going away.
The wind caresses the leaves,
And tingles my body.
And now in the darkness I hear Death’s hellhound.
I cannot escape, I am bound.

It is now time.
I must leave this brutal world.
Bury me but remember me.
I’ll watch over thee like air.
And now in the darkness, I hear thy cries.
I am escaping, I am no more bound.
