Into the forest of life we go half way to learn ,the other half way we get out to enjoy what we have learned.

Into the Forest

My life is now like that of a lone hunter

Entering an unknown forest

Half life have I by now did enter,

The other half now commences

As I now am about to exit

The forest of life we all encounter,

Some find game,

Some leave empty,

Life’s a forest,

It has to give plenty

Enjoy the natural beauty

The soft music

As from the forest

 Now you and I exit

Love let me go

Love let me go

The time approaches

So very fast

Life’s a maze

Gone aghast

The end arrives at last.

Pleasant analogy. I like both life and forest.

When I was a kidder person
    Someone asked me

How deep can one get into a forest?
    I remained dumb,
    Ignorant as I was then
    As I am
    Till today

    The obvious answer was
    Half way

    The other half
One is coming out of the forest
    Isn’t it?

So that stuck in my mind

    As my life proceeded

    I won’t say it ebbed,

    As I am likely
    To be misunderstood

    So I wrote this poem

Just for all of you today.
