This piece describes how thoughts can take a hold of you so that it almost feels like you are intoxicated on these very thoughts. It asks the reader to join in "thinking".
Drunk I most frequently am on thoughts
My own and thoughts so shared to me.
I choose to listen and listen well
As those who talk do so tongue in cheek.
Often others dare not speak through fear of
Ridicule and persecution, let this not be my way.
A free voice is free knowledge and
Powerful shall I become through knowing.
They may question me on these thoughts my own
So shared by others.
Learn from them and gain their own understanding
From their own weight of thoughts.
So drink with me and together we shall
Be drunk on our intoxicating thoughts.
