This is a simple heartfelt poem of the paths life takes us on, and how we can choose to embrace them.
A choice is such a simple word
Can be made in just an instant
Then looking back, that other choice
Could never seem more distant
Regret is such a sorrow feeling
It clings inside your soul
It can take days, weeks, months of healing
Yet can we ever fill the hole?
Why must we waste our worries
On how life may have changed
If we had chosen to take that other path
Leaving our life rearranged
Life is a spider’s web
A complicated design
Like each single snowflake
It falls just one time
Make use of the time given
Make choices and move on
Never regret or question
