Scary love poem.

Image via Wikipedia

An eerie silence has fallen over the graveyard,

as I once again fall prey to your intriguing spell.

You always  bring out the evil monster in me,

as we kiss among the crumbling tombstones.

I cannot resist the excitement of the hunt,

as we prowl along together in the darkness.

The passion is so tactile but in such a sinister way and I love the imagery of “crumbling tombstones”. You write very simple poems but some of the imagery you use is just so appealing o the senses! Great job, Darla!
