This is the lyrics of a song I wrote, I wrote this just so that I can have this word for the title.

The inukshuk is use for many things
Navigating where to go hunting
To be aware of their Lair
A symbol that they were once there
One day our statues won’t look as detailed
Like the Maoi eyes that all collapse
The future will ask why we didn’t prevail
It’s because nothing ever last
When there is not a single book
They’ll want to know how we all look
What they’ll find in their pursuit
will just look like an inukshuk
