A poem about a very strong woman who had been through a lot of ordeal and managed to survive triumphantly amidst her serious health condition and death of her husband. Life had been a struggle for her and now that she had reached her golden age she had remained determined and a valiant fighter of life’s trials. An invincible woman indeed.

I dedicate this poem to our beloved late President CORAZON CONJUANGCO AQUINO.

Feeling down you’ve lost someone

Shadows of the past keeps haunting you

But I am a lost soul

I can’t hold you

Life had been bitter

Life had been unfair

You had struggled

You had felt all the pain

The world went spinning

You lost your space

Now you’re floating

Stand tall

Pull yourself together

You would always be great no matter what they say

You’d been gone and now you’re back

You had won your battles you are a timeless heroine

Lift your head up high, you’re a free soul

You are back with triumph in your heart

You would always be great and  excellent

Because you are you

The dawn of hope is coming, the sun is rising

Bright days ahead

Fragments of  broken dreams, still exist

Just gather them on one side for now

Today they are of no value, tomorrow they are priceless

Experiences that made you weak

Had made you perfectly…… INVINCIBLE.
