Contributed mainly for an anthology of poems entitled Rage, due for most part against the inhumane massacre in Maguindanao, Philippines because of extra-political reasons.
bucket with the corpses is more of a trauma
the monstrosity of the carnage in tragic horror
what more shall aggravate the pain
lest the lives of the fallen be forgotten
the bruises and
scars and stain and
fractures and shame
on each mangled flesh,
fifty-eight of them all
collide in mind of Masalay
all souls month, year twenty oh-nine
though that event we won’t get to see
it shall never be blotted out of memory
but for our history be remembered
however
condolences have aways been welcome
if by now complacency is disturbed
by words as such violence by the visual
but being one in collective action is much favored
