Writing I think is a fantastic way of expression and it takes dedication.

Is Being A Writer An Obsession?

Is being a writer of any kind an obsession?

Does a writer know when to shut down any?

Why does he always have a million ideas?

Can a writer ever be a normal person again?

Is being a writer of any kind an obsession?

I suppose that would depend on the writer.

But to be a writer takes a lot of dedication,

Pouring blood, sweat and all you have in it.

                                    ****

Does a writer know when to ever shut down?

Sure he does when he closes his eyes to sleep.

But the ideas are still safely stored in his head,

Waiting for a good reason to finally break free.

Does a writer have a million ideas in his head?

Maybe not a million but it could be close to it.

We can’t go anywhere as a normal person can,

a pen and paper is always our best friend there.

                                    ****

Can a writer ever be considered a normal being?

it can be done but why would they want to do it?

A talented writer can be normal and still write,

but its much more fun being an eccentric writer.

                                    ****

It does matter what you chose to write or why,

it could be a story, poetry or even a long article.

But is writing just a hobby to you when you can,

or is it nothing less then an obsession that you have?

Being a dedicated writter is unlike anything any other talented person does.We have a freedom of speech and its up to us where we want to take it.So being obsesive about writing isnt a bad thing.Well written and liked it.

Loved this!!So creative! I think a true writer is born that,it is inbred into them as their heart beats and their blood runs through theirs viens. As for myself I even get inspiration from my dreams and have often dreamed that I was writing.I think it is a passion. To me it is something magical ,a way of revealing myself. You can make anything happen as a writer from sadness to happiness and fear to freedom. The world is at a writer finger tips with a pen and paper!

I really like this topic, writing to me wasn’t an obsession until I joined triond. Now I can be laying in the bed an idea will pop-up in my head and I will have to get up immediately and start jotting thing down otherwise I am afraid that I might lose it. I just can’t stand the idea of not posting every day. If you are not obsessed you can become obsessed. Wow thank you!
