Is the wail, the cry, the blood naught to make His heart melt! 
Is misfortune of the good scarce enough to make Him pour more? 
Is the tyranny and ruthlessness pleasant for Him to let it reign? 
Is our faith in Him less that we suffer His fury in joy and in woe? 
 
Is He not the patron of insanity, hatred, and everything inimical to the moral? 
Is He not the mighty portraitist of the bad against whom we wish to triumph over? 
Is He not the one who has and shall overlook the atrocities wreaked on His disciples? 
Is it right for us to believe in Him and swallow His will without difference? 
 
Is the voice of the upright and noble too shrill for him that He crushes it? 
Is he pleased to make castes and some rash men who invite mayhem due to it? 
Is the work of the honest overly just for Him that He slays the doer? 
Is he not shaken by the barbarity and pride of the wrong doer? 
 
Is it best for us to serve the moral and punish the bad in defiance to His scheme of things? 
Is it best for us to make Him fume seeing our indomitable will to sow goodwill and bliss? 
Is God with us? 
Is God with us? 
 
Yes! Yes! Yes! 
In His eyes nothing is good or worse. 
But the thinking he’s sown in us… 
Will tell the truth from pretense. 
Will tell the good from worse… 
Will tell the shore from abyss… 
Will tell for you, me and us! 
 
God is with us… 
For ‘thinking’ is his bequest. 
And He shall help us. 
If we help ourselves…
