Just some frustration venting.

Is working online less than working in an office?

Is being organized a crime?

Is making optimal use of your limited resources wrong?

Is it a sin to ask your price?

Why is the woman working from home

considered a step below?

Is she not doing a balancing act with home and duties?

Does her small contribution to the home’s purse

not make any difference to anyone?

Would it kill the family to rally around her?

To help out with some outside chores?

To give her a break once in a while?

To give her a hug and a kiss sometimes?

Why must she soldier on with no support?

Why must she have no safety net?

Why must she be everything to everyone?

When no one takes the time to be someone for her?

I know how it feels…to be taken for granted. Our time, efforts….and yet, at the end of the day, every one expects you to have some time on hand, because unlike them, you are not working!!

Women have fought this battle for a long time and the battle is not over yet.

Many people tend to think that you don’t do anything as you are working from home. We never get the appreciation for our efforts unless we are getting a 6 figure pay cheque for our work.

It is not nice being unappreciated, I know the feeling. But there are so many positives about working from home: choosing when you do the things you have to do and having a break when you decide, not having to deal with rude people, not having to put up with annoying workmates…. the list is endless! It does not matter if you earn less, you are your own boss.

I’m glad I’m not the only one trying to answer these questions. Sometimes the lack of human contact thanks to working remotely from home can be most upsetting. Not to mention the fact that we never seem to get any appreciation from the family around us. Thanks everyone for stopping by.

Ever since time immemorial, women are fighting for this right and still not receive a fair deal.

Being taken for granted is not a very good feeling but it happens to all of us once in awhile. Just know that you are doing a good job and for all the right reasons and you can make yourself feel better.
