How many nights will I watch you sleep in sweet serenity,
While I lay awake watching hours creep by till morning comes,
How many times can I cry and not be heard,
With you lying so close to me I find that a lil shocking,

Watching the clock and seeing your chest rise and fall in utter peace,
I envy the easy ability to fall asleep without fixing the fights,
None of its ever your fault, Is that why you can sleep?
Letting music serenade me while I cry and you rest,

I hope my sadness does not wake you my sleeping prince,
Nor does it creep into your mind and disturb your dreams,
I wish you were curled up next to me like you use to be,
Falling asleep hurting was never a possibility, now routine..

Have i given you enough reason to give up,
Have i pushed you beyond whats able to be fixed,
How can you lay there like everything between us is okay,
