Is it?

Ready to Jump,
Off the edge of the roof,
To fall towards the solid ground
Once green, soft grass,
Now blades of steel
She’s gone,
Gone too far,
and it’s too late to save her

1,2,3….
She counts silently in her head,
Closing her eyes,
Ready to take that leap
Many cars driving on the highway,
Where she will make her deadly landing
She’s gone,
Gone too far,
and it’s too late to save her

She lifts her hands,
Takes in a deep breath
and lets her body fall…..
To the hard cement below
She’s gone,
Gone too far,
and its too late to save her

Her pulse is slowling,
The life seems to have left her body
Many gather around
Astonished by what they have seen
and wondering if she will wake
Is she gone?
Has she gone too far?
Is it too late to save her?

Wow! You have excelled yourself here. I can’t ever imagine feeling the need to go to such lengths to escape. Powerful work.

one can only offer a hand! We are responsible for our own salvation! Still, nothing should make a person feel so low as to want to kill themselves. God is always there to offer a better direction, but not choice–he leaves that to the person. Now, the person–that’s another story–if you know what I mean! missed you but have not and will not forget you! Hanging in there–I ess and quite well. Improvement can only impress–Cool!
