When you love someone, it’s more than this one word, this one feeling but a plethora of emotions. Love left unspoken or rejected is even worse and with my love for a certain girl there was that along with silence and fear. Is It You Or The Words… Meaningless, I think in the end it was both, I mean come on I didn’t win the girl and I’m here, yep meaningless.
Love is you
In all I had and all I do
In every poem I dared to write
In every movie in the night
Every song my heart did sing
Love is you and everything
But it’s a word, I still feel
Not you or I could ever kill
Though for me it’s just a word
A heart to find another girl
So I can write and I can do
Another love, it won’t be you
Silence, that was you as well
Welcome to my special Hell
Just a word from you to me
Thanks, a friend, or destiny
Or go away, so I would know
Way back when… a year ago
But silence I can be so deaf
By myself some words are left
Words I have, words of me
No longer words of loving thee
No longer waiting for a word
No longer waiting for you girl
Fear, you gave both good and bad
So wonderful and yet so sad
Fear of thinking you would say
You would be my girl today
Fear of everything you saw
Such a threat to call the law
But fear I know, and evil too
All before and after you
Fear can come in many forms
To be in fear, now that’s the norm
So I am scared what else is new
For this my sweet I don’t need you
Love’s a word, I still feel
Need no thoughts of you my dear
And silence gathers all around
But your voice, don’t need the sound
And even though you scare and threat
Even fear I know and get
So when I write what is to be?
Something more inspires me
Is it you Boricua princess?
Or are these words, meaningless…
