As God’s Love is obedience, faithfulness…

Then Money’s Love is satan, and its desire is sin,

Money is satan’s secret lure to entice sin therewith,

Therefore, use Money that it might sow God’s Way;

“Food and raiment let us be therewith content…”

Not enough…, some say, let us have more,

We desire all that the world offers,

To Money and its Love, these say:

Drown us in destruction and perdition,

Tempt us, snare us, lead us into temptation,

Though we pierce ourselves with sorrows…
