A couple having problems with pettiness, but realizing there is always going to be troubles in a relationship, no way around it.

Thou must know

whither thou goeth?

And thou must know

the wind shall surely blow?

Thy demeanor of late reminds me

of how sensitive

I know of thee to be.

Shall I apologize

for that which I know not?

Twill there be a sign

when thou shalt

fly right and be fine?

I tread ever so gently

to save thy feelings

from most dealings.

I love, but with limited patience.

Thou must remember

experiencing past tension,

as I am thus inclined

 to overly mention.

I sigh, and then turn, traipsing away.

Not quite knowing

 what is left to say.

All that is evident

to me a this time,

is the immaturity

revealed in thy own mind.

Thus, you are not the same person

I once knew.

Moodiness has taken over

with a vengeance, it’s true.

I’m shaken and stirred,

now what do I do?

Thou must remember

the surrealism that we once shared.

Tell me, is our love impaired?

Has trouble been

formally declared?

My suggestion is ~

that we dare not,

do that, in which we know not,

until we know better

 what it is

that we are doing,

or for that matter,

where we are going.

DB…Hast thou resurfaced as a Pilgrim? Or have you hearkened back to the days of Damsels and Dames? This was a bit of a tough read…until I got into the rhythm of reading King James English!!! I would think it might have been a bit of a tough write as well…A++++ for effort!
    Edit…
“you are not the same person…” should it be “thou are not the same person…” ???

As long as there is respest and humility, I think any impaired relationship could be repaired…

All relationships are like this. Even the best relationships are like this.

Things we want to be are never how they really are. Trying to make the best of what we have from time to time is how we are. Comfort is key to any relationship . You really expressed that clearly. Sad ,but beautiful !
