This is a poem I wrote as a kid, about one of my favorite scientists, MR. ISAAC NEWTON.
I sat beneath an apple tree,
Thinking on my thoughts,
When an apple fell upon my head,
And bounced away beyond.
Reminding me of an incident;
That occured long time ago,
But was a super-genius, who experienced
The incident before, making his mind race and ponder
“Why did it happen?”, he began to wonder..
With no calculator for calculation;
Only a mind of sophistication,
The sharp brain reached the conclusion;
And discovered the force of gravitation..
But didn’t end his journey here,
It was a start in the way;
Of a struggle and hard work,
studied even today.
Not satisfied with the knowledge he got
His heart yearned for more;
From life to earth, to moon, to sun,
Advancing he did go..
Remembering ISAAC NEWTON,
Oh what an intelligent mind!
Among the ones that follow, seldom would you find,
Poscessing a brain, of his kind!!
