I walked in the world, but I was

not a part of the world

I sought you daily, seeking your Will

for my life and not my own

and you overflowed my being wih

Your abounding love

Trial, hard times came my way

And I was overwhelmed by everythng

around me

I did not thnk that I could handle your

chastening, but I endured

For you were always there, gently

guiding me in your ways and I was

not afraid

For you ransomed me and called me

by name and I am yours

I walked through deep waters

and I did not drown-You were with me

I went through fires of oppression

And I was not burned

the flames did not consume me

therefore, I will not fear for you have told me

not to be afraid.

You are always with me

You created me, I am precious to you

because You love me

I as as the dust, You are the breath of life

breathing life into my sould sot that I may

live to follow you

You gave up whole nations for me

in exchange for my freedom.

Others died so that I might live

Their lives were traded for mine

Because I am honored and because

You love me, I need not ever be afraid.
