About a love found.
I came from my island
Leapt over your wall
Landed on your island
And tried not to fall
I held you in my arms
And cuddled you close
Dazzled with your charms
I loved you the most
And I saw not that wall
The one I heard about
I just felt the thrall
And then without a doubt
I love you more my sparrow
Each passing day renews
My love need not lie fallow
Love’s fresh as the morning dews
“Thy cheeks are comely with rows of jewels,
thy neck with chains of gold.” (Songs 1:10)
