It matters not what time can do to man,

As long as man performs his best with time,

Nor should he shrink from challenges that can

Leave his footprints on eternal sands of time.

Knowing fully well of obstacles that are

Restricting his advances all through life.

Goals that seem so near and yet so far,

Test his skill and stamina through strife.

He who never quits must climb the hills 

Of life, unshaken in his stubborn quest

Might yet be lacking expertise and skills

Yet, well-disposed to do his level best. 

The road is long, the beaten track confusing,

The milestones well-positioned from the start,

These alone being of his own choosing,

Measured only by a fearless heart.
