English Sonnet.

It seems as though you never went away.

The guide upon the wall of course is sure,

That we had parted long ago one day

To end the hurt, as children, we incur.

Our love inciting fire was reckless spent.

Engulfed in our desire we could not see

What speed we sailed Poseidon’s waters, bent

Until ourselves would part and ruined be.

Not one refrain of disrespect remains.

My heart now opens wide where once was closed

And welcomes back as one to his domain,

Your wiles so quick and lively unoppossed.

No weathered song of love would be replete;

Should hatred rule and never cede defeat.
