It was only when I did leave school,  I realised that I’d been a fool,                                                                     If I’d had listened to what was taught, I would have had much better thoughts:          

                            Opportunities to learn are great, At the time I did not appreciate                                                          Once leaving school and finding work, I soon realised that it was silly to shirk:     

                           If only I had the will to learn, I would be able for good money to earn,                                                   I could then have be able to more,  And then for myself gain higher score:

                           We are so fortunate in this modern day, For education is easy to get in every way:                            Life in the future could be easier to discern, If children and parents are prepared to learn:
