(Appendix for One Million Things You Don’t Need In Your Life. Step Six)
If you don’t like rain, stay home and write poems about it :) I did and ended up with 30 lines of philosophy in this poem. Funny, huh! If you do not believe me, you can count…

It is rain,

Like one’s tears drop here and there.

It is useless

To wait for this foul weather’s end

It is I,

I will sit at the window so close,

Getting cold

And thinking of warmth.

It takes ages

To get sun into my room.

I can hear the lonely rain’s boom.

It is sad,

There is nobody here!

It’s too bad,

Crazy rain brought the fear!

I’m not bored,

But I do not like rain.

I’ll close the door,

Go for a walk, skip off pain.

Let big puddles just swallow my sadness

I’m protected

By my umbrella and madness.

If I’m wet,

I’ll have time before dinner

To go home

And to warm inner sinner.

Story’s end:

The result of my fears -

Thirty lines

About cold rainy tears.

Nice job, Elina, I like the progression of this piece and it’s as if I can feel the oncoming rain through these lines. Keep writing !
