How many relationships have had their problems, creating a need to rekindle their flames?

Our passion wanes as time persists
A forcefulness, it pushes forth
All my advances, you so resist
Is this just the natural course?
Are we destined to not meet,
Bodies one on astral plains?
Are our days of love complete?
Are we now in doldrums rains?

Let not our love be over now
There, in your heart, I know it burns
I’ll do my best…I will somehow
For you my love, my heart still yearns
We will… make again a life
So filled with love and true desire
Yes, I, this man and you, the wife
Will reignite the dormant fire

This is somewhat written with a tempting tone to it for me. It also invites the reader to know perserverance is ongoing.Nicely done!
