To awaken from ones sleep and to put away the not so good memories of the past that skewed the view of self: Written by… E.B. Wilkes/POET/Author.

Tragical scenes behind the

Meaningful Memories of few

have played center-stage

to skew

my views

from seeing clear

enough to see

the necessities

within my faculties

to broaden my views

once unseen from naked eye

But now I’ve moved on

no-longer within the grip

of days bygone

where tragical scenes

of haunt

were the center forefront

that set the stage

that within me raged.

Those days bygone

that tripped me up for so long

now no-loner linger on.

I have move on!

Goodbye

Goodbye

to tragical scenes

and naked eye

For, I now can see

and have grown my own wings

to fly

and have flown me here

with mind So clear

where Meritorious Merit Mustered

from my rouse

has given way

to Memories More Meaningful

on my road to self.

Those Menseless Memories

that overshadowed

never adorned me with the priorities

to summon the outlook

to look within thine own mind

to find the kind of necessities

to bring forth the best in me

to leave the bad memories of the rest of me behind.

“Thank God” for helping me find…

my useful mind!

It’s strange how our lives do change from the days of yesteryear, to present of the here and now, which lyes before us as an opendoor.
