“I’ve Yet to Look Into My Soul”

I’ve yet to look into my soul.

Self-truth, I fear I’ll never know.

The silence taught me how to talk.

Standing still I learned my walk.

God, when you made me,

You worked with sure hands.

Still, the ocean within me,

Breaks upon doubtful sands.

“I lose face as I face each faceless day.  If you love me, my love , then there’s a price to be payed.
