Short and succinct. A message in three lines, but bottled up for you to find. Haiku is deceptively simply, while complexively profound.

Winter upon us
Go outside and freeze over
Jump over the moon

The leaves fall gently
Roughly hitting the hard ground
No sound, but your sound

Fish float in water
Where do you float to not live?
Stop floating now, love

Hail frozen solid
Your heart is beating with love
Go solidly, love

Hot is the summer
Wind moves amongst the tall trees
You, me, see it all

Life springs to all life
Stop living on life to live
Hello, I’m here too

Seasons of real love
Hunting us all down, it’s cold
Warm up love, to live

Old dog on the log
The tree has fallen over
Tree died, dog unlogged

Love never empties
All is sent out for today
Spring is not winter

    Haiku, ah haiku
    What is haiku to itself?
    nothing’s not nothing
