A poem inspired by the original poem Thanatopsis by William Cullen Bryant.

Jaren’s Thanatopsis

Death is something you should not fear

Enjoy your time, it’s precious, dear

For when we die, it’s just our time

We must embrace the sweet, sublime

Death does not mean Life is done

In fact, our lives have just begun

Eternities, we have then still

There for doing what we will

Our families will take an entire town

Where we will live when we lie down

For that last and great release

There’s reason to say we rest in peace

After Death, new Life is there

A gift from Him with love and care
