Are you fighting God’s preacher, His specified teacher,
And thou wilt not listen at all?
Be careful, take heed; he knows what you need,
And don’t be a javelin in the wall!
Are you fighting God’s man, God’s great ordained plan?
Take heed lest you come to a fall.
God’s servant he is; The message is HIS.
And don’t be a javelin in the wall.
Are you fighting God’s will- He’s directing you still.
And are you evading the call?
For sweet are the darts that He aims at your heart;
Sweet Javelin in the wall!
So to His will take feet, when the Saviour you meet,
And give Him your life and your all!
Great will be your reward when you follow the Lord,
And yield to the Javelin in the wall!
So go now in prayer. To His service prepare.
No cause to delay or to stall.
His servant ye are, whether near or far.
Oh, yield to the Javelin in the Wall!
