To the Jena Six: Stay Strong.
Locking up six young black men for just a fight
Come on Mr. Prosecutor you know that ain’t right
Would you try to lock them up if their skin color was white
This whole drama started when they would not allow the black kids to sit under the tree
I thought this was 2007 not 1963
Now we have people putting up nooses
Once again black folk have to deal with all kinds of abuses
The Jena 6 is bringing on a new Civil Rights Movement
Brothers and Sisters are coming together to bring in much needed improvement
We as a people have fought for so long
We will continue to try to fight the many wrongs
And to the Jena 6 keep your head up and stay strong
