The bible seems like a long read,

But you can get through it if you follow my lead.

A few minutes every day is all it takes,

So let’s get religious for god sakes.

You can read about the Virgin Mary,

You know that no one popped her cherry.

She gave birth to Jesus in Bethlehem,

He found sick people and healed them.

Jesus could control the sea,

That’s amazing if you ask me.

What about the disciples you say,

They watch over him while he pray.

One of his disciples would deceive him,

This made Jesus’ future grim.

Judas was the unfaithful one,

Jesus was seized with nowhere to run.

Jesus was put to death,

Just like everyone in Macbeth.

They nailed him to a cross,

Judas showed him whose boss.

His body was placed in a cave,

It was thought that this would be his grave.

This was not to be,

For Jesus rose again in one day times three.

He told his disciples to spread the gospel,

They shouted Jesus is alive and well!

This is the story that the bible does tell,

Read it or you might just go to hell.
