A poem about the crucifixion and Jesus paying the price for our salvation.
Jesus Paid
Once we dwelt among the lost.
Who will save us from eternal loss?
T’was a terrible price one had to pay
Upon on the cross that fateful day.
Who you ask would love so great
To give his precious life for our sake?
Who could save us from eternal loss
Who is willing to die on the cross?
Jesus paid the awful price
Upon the cruel cross was placed.
This was the Father’s will
That His blood would cleanse our guilt.
Jesus died and paid the price that’s true
His salvation is now is up to you.
Will you now confess His name
Be washed in His blood and redeemed?
Yes! Jesus paid it all for man
So on judgement day when we stand.
Pure and white would be our robes
We would be washed white as snow.
