Which way should he go?

There once was a Rabbit named Joe
Who didn’t know which way to go
Frontwards, backwards, or side to side
Where to move? He couldn’t decide.

He sat and he wondered
He wiggled and pondered
‘Til the morning was gone
Joe still on the lawn

“I could go left, I could go right
I better hurry, before the night”
But still he sat, not able to jump
Stuck where he was just like a stump

Until it hit him like a ton of bricks
There really was only one possible fix
You see he figured, that being stuck here
Meant he would never ever get over there

Where was “over there” you may inquire
It didn’t really matter, Joe was inspired
“If I don’t go somewhere, I’ll always be here
This place is nice, but the choice is clear”

“I have to move somewhere so I don’t feel stuck
Always feeling that I’m in a rut”
So Joe got hopping, every which way
He got over there, by the end of the day.

Simple but says alot. If we do not do ’something’ we will never do anything. Good perscription for writer’s block.

Really like it! I think Joe has been staying in my back yard.
