This poem is about a “bad person” attempting to redeem themselves.

a devious past
malformation bitter
lifestyle choices then a liability
diminishing singleton
lunacy best pals with the detractors
insipid wayfarer, wandering like a repudiated slat of tree bark; just begging to be permanently disposed of
mugging for the shuttered camera
searching in vain, next last chance
redemption, instruction, applause
it’s curtains, nice satin brand name
conclusion to saga frighteningly indecisive
