Johnny Dodd was a lighting Designer,

He was but death’s prisoner.

He was renowned for theatre and dance,

Read his profile and shared the glance.

For it was AIDs that killed the REAL Johnny,

He did the deed for fame and earned his money.

He did The Madness of Lady Bright,

With an Obie Award that said it right.

For he was renowned for theatrical work,

But in carnal deviance he did lurk.

That by far soon sealed his fate,

In 1991 he was at Hell’s Gate.
