We meet people every day that start on a similar journey but end in separate paths.

It began on a cold dark night

The journey of strangers

All from different places and stages in life

Each had a similar goal and objective in sight

To catch the bus to complete their journey on a cold winter night

The bus was late this particular night

The cold of the night show no mercy

The wind blew hard and drank all the heat

The time more slowly outside in the wind

A decision was made to leave the bus station

And walk a few miles to a better location

We talked as we walked us strangers three

It was nice to have company during the winter breeze

But once we reach the better location

We all went our separate directions

The stranger s I never saw again

Yet I wish them save journey to their desired end

Beautifully written! Reminded me of my occasional night journeys!

Take the train, it’s warmer in their stations. I’m kidding of course. Nice poem.

That was beautifully written. It is strange how we brush along with strangers, we connect but then we may never see them again ever.
