A Plants beginning.
Darkness.
I take a long drink.
With new energy I begin to stretch
Seeking sunlight
I’m growing and growing
Up and up
Its lighter here,
I’m close.
The final stretch
As I push through the dirt
Instantly the warmth encases me
I made it.
