An encounter at the pearly gates; conclusion.

You had found a world where you could live
This was they way of life you preached
You strived to find a life of harmony,
One that was there, but you’d never reached.

The hooter was finally sounded,
The game as you knew it was at an end;
Tears were shed as you parted from man,
For in your final ways you’d made a friend.

Weeping, but not for long-
Knowing, you had gone to a place;
Now a spectator, not a competitor,
Free at last, from running in the race.

A final home waiting for everyone
Where existence is serene, placid, and free;
Offered for you – and all alike,
Yes, all are welcome, you just need to see.

And now for you one life has ended
And another is about to begin,
At a place where you will live forever,
Dwelling in harmony, and all are your kin.
