Just Let It Be

We worry when we shouldn’t, because we are not in control He is. He has conquered all, so what do we have to worry about?

I see the intense worry

in your eyes set before me.

Just let it be, and let it be free.

What will be, will be.

We cannot change

our life’s pattern,

for it was chosen for us

when we were born,

and we were adorned

with what we would need

to become who we are.

We grow and learn,

to have little concern

of what is to come.

For God knows all,

and it will happen

at the beat of His drum.

He is in control,

and that is all we need to know

and rightly so.

So, no worries please.

Let this bit of advice

bring you ease.

It wasn’t meant to be

on your shoulders, but His.

Be mindful to remember this.

DB – WOW…I get to get to leave a comment. I absolutely love this poem and on top of it all I get to be the first to say how GREAT it is and a vrey refreshing read acknowledging and remembering that His shoulders are bigger than ours and that He will never burden us with more than He knows we can handle…this alone is a great testimony to great inner beauty and strength. Thanks for this beautiful poem on a very SPECIAL day.
