Christmas Day

Is very near

But will it be

A day of cheer.

On Christmas Eve

I’ll probably go to Mass

Then maybe stay for a bit

At the afterwards bash.

I’ll probably go to Church on Christmas Morning

Then head right back home

So just my cats and I

Can celebrate alone.

No Christmas lights

No Christmas tree

As it’s kind of a sad

Christmas for me.

No money to buy

Any gifts anyway

So this year Christmas

Is just another day.

But I’ll give Special Honor to God though

Celebrating Him with Praise as I should

For this time of struggle will very soon pass

And life will be even better than good.

As He created me

As well as the path that I would take

So because I believe in and honor Him

I believe soon I’ll have my break.

Although it’s not looking good

For my Greatest Dream to be

For 2011, which rhymes with Heaven

Should be my year to see Victory.
