A Love Poem, For tonight it will be just you and I.

Turn the lights down low,
Let’s just stay inside,
For tonight,
Oh- For tonight
Just you and I.

Let’s keep to ourselves
And hold onto each other tight
For tonight,
If only for tonight
Just you and I.

We can find ourselves a quite little place,
Underneath the moonlight
For tonight,
For us tonight
Just you and I.

There’s no need to fear
For it is only the two of us
For tonight,
We can hold each other dear tonight
Just you and I.

Good and Crisp! In and out! Good rhythm and beat. Simple and simple is the best. You hear a poet voice in the poem–some lovely mockingbird calling out. good job! The capturing of the chirping sound is remarkable and golden–I do not know it that was your aim, however, it did acheive that effect. Gold!
