Maneki Niko in gaudy colours
beckons from her shop.
A red flower choker adorns her neck
and on it a little bell.

A red flower choker adorns her neck

Right paw raised

she wishes all,

‘a good fortune’

In return the tourist

fills her up

with gold.

    Marketing at its best at work! It is only considerate to always \”Tip\” a host nation! And, here, we complain about taxes–revenue that hepls everyone–and we elect officials
    who say \”No new taxes!\” Sure! If you say so! Let\’s think: \”Tip!\”
