I’m a writer
I went through hard times
By Typing with fire

When I saw the Negative
I almost caved
Then my mind played with me
In dangerous ways

And I tried hard
To not let it show
The things I went through
God only knows

So with this stanza
With this reply
I solemnly salute 
My problems goodbye.

     Ok, well, I’m a person who doesn’t like to open up to many. So facing my demons, was a hard battle for me. I tried everything, subtely taking advice from places and people wherever I could, without expressing myself too much. Whatever it was, Pride, Hardheadedness, or just plain old obnoxiousness, I was trapped in an endless battle.

    Just about having given up hope on things, I remembered how much I liked to write in my high school and earlier years. Songs, raps, poems, just in general. I think I might have had the disease of even LIKING to write essays in school! (well for the first 10 minutes, then Id hate it just like anyone else). I found an app, on my android phone, called, The Poets Corner. They reminded me of my love for words and pictures from letters, powerful imagery, and just over all steam blowers.

    With all the mainstream things being music, and NEW AGE FUTURE concepts, it’s very easy to lose your beginnings. Everyone starts somewhere, and rap is born of rhyme. Poetry goes hand in hand with rap. On a deeper level, where you’re letting your heart speak, and not really trying to do anything else too distracting with it.

So in short, if you’re ever in a rut, or find it hard to understand things,
Kee poetry alive.

Pick up a pen or cell phone and write away, let it bleed into new life.

Like a phoenix rising from the ashes.
