This was the first poem I had ever written about a specific person. I wrote it back in my senior year of high school. It’s about my first boyfriend, may God rest his soul. We went out for over a year when I was 14, so he was my first true love. He passed away at the age of 23 due to cancer.
I once thought you’d always be
but now ur gone and I’m not sure I can go on
My thoughts are done, but u still linger on
You will always be in my heart for I wish u were still here wit me..
We both went our seperate ways, but never really part from our hearts
Everytime I look at the sky I know ur lookin back at me.
When I cry I can hear u tellin me that everything will be alright
Our love was something that we could only have…
My love for you did not die wit u for it will never leave!
You use to brighten up my days and now all I have r memories.
When I saw u there my heart just fell apart.
This is not how I remember you…
All the fun we had, it will always remain in u and me no matter how far apart we are.
I know ur watching over me, but Baby I just can not bare the fact that u are really gone..
I miss u so much that sometimes I wish I could die to be wit u.
You will forever be in my heart and soon we will be together again.
Forever Love is what we had and what we will always have…
