The sun is tired

starting to go to bed

The sun lifts his blanket 

Splashing colors of gold, pink and red into the sky

People stare at sky wondering

How long will it take for the sun to leave

Taking the never ending colors with it

The sun yawns

Letting a torrent of dark into the sky

these colors mix making a purple hue

The sun starts to slumber

Letting more darkness enter our sky

This dark tells us the sun is asleep

And it is time for us to lay down as well
