The bright side isn’t for all.
Looked at as the loser in school and out
Trash thrown at me by just about everyone I walk near
Tears not meaning a thing to them, not even my horrific shout
Trying to withstand it all with a smile, but I just can’t bear
Throwing myself in my lonely bed of an empty house
Screaming to the top of my lungs with tears flooding my pillow
Tearing everything off the walls, not more color, not even my bright blouse
It shows that they hate me, then I shall never ever show
Stepping onto school grounds but within the shadows
Weird looks still upon me but trashing has stopped
Smiling which nobody can see, the dark is my new home
Their hate not being inflicted, my “happiness” will not be robbed
