We all need keys.
People who make and cut keys are in a good business
Just think of all the key copies people make everyday
They would look sick if we were all keyless
People do lose or change them, no matter what they say.
Car keys can cost you one hundred pounds or more
Millions of keys are lost or stolen every year
It’s cheaper to get the key cut to your door
Then the expense of changing your locks everywhere.
We all use keys everywhere we go
To name a few, cars, prisons, homes, cash registers, brief cases
Unless you are a criminal and in the know
They use windows or doors, in and out of places.
So before you leave home put your keys in a safe place
Not under a plant pot or a rug
Otherwise you could get a visit from an unfamiliar face
Your home will be vulnerable, so might you be with a thug.
So until we are keyless
Know where your keys are, not guess
It will save you later all the distress
Rushing around worrying, getting into a right old mess.
