Christmas 2005.

Upon the mountain, dusted white,
a week with the family, winter delight;
skiing and sledding and skating it’s true,
watching the snow falling on you.
The lights on the slopes as Christmas drew near,
the sound of the sleigh bells filling the air;
music and laughter, good times and fun,
watching the gondolas shine in the sun.
You in your fur, all bundled up tight,
smiling and laughing, such a delight;
memories of Christmas, when all was good,
the throwing of snowballs, chopping of wood.
Merry Christmas darling, I hope you are fine;
just wanted to tell you, you’re still on my mind.
